Winter is here ~
Another heavy snowfall.
Another first. In Yuncheng.
We are lucky that we have heating early. A week earlier than usual.
Dp kept telling Grandpa Dong to provide central heating early for our estate because his granddaughter, Amanda is feeling cold at home.
But well, Amanda is dressed warm at home… its us that’s cold. :-p
Unlike Beijing’s heating, which can be too hot sometimes, Yuncheng’s heating suck!
But with our central heating, we can control the temperature…
This winter is going to be less miserable.
Dp – Back to office after lunch break!

Its a warm fuzzy feeling to look out at the snow and feel the Warmth of our Home.
ps: Had to use squeegee to remove the indoor water condensation on our windows to take the pictures.
I am too lazy to get dressed and go outdoor.

Dp taught me a new phrase today.
瑞雪兆丰年…
Today’s heavy snowfall was very unexpected.
It came almost a month earlier than usual.
View from our bedroom.
Fortunately, I found an old jacket in the apartment but it was no surprise that I couldn’t zip it up!
The best bit about this snow, we delayed our return flight home to tomorrow evening.
And the road traffic that morning was surprisingly smooth!
One more day in Beijing. One more day at the malls.
Its my favorite month, November!
I love to be overly-indulgent in November!

I am inspired by the snow we are having in Yuncheng right now…
I thought I should do a post of the snow we saw in Japan last month (last year)!!!
The location wasn’t part of our itinerary but it was very fun & unforgettable.
We haven’t been in or seen this much snow… !
FAMILY FUN IN THE SNOW!

Family Portrait.

All’s calm before the snow fight…

Ashley using Mom as shield.

Do you see what I see?
The resemblance when they laugh!?

Andrew…

Mom getting cold snow of Andrew’s back…
While I get ready to attack… again!

“Revenge…I must…I must…!!!” Getting even…

Dad & Mom

Sisters!

Sibling Love…
However, Dad complained that we cuddle & stand too closely for photos almost everytime…

So we did this…

Andrew with the Introduction and the story of Hirayu waterfall.

Hot Spring!

B-ah!
Little Red Riding Hood and the Blue lamb!

Acting Cute…

AND FINALLY!!!
The “Judebabe Pose” in Japan!
Back to the snow we are having in Yuncheng today.
It isn’t snowing heavily but beautiful and the air is now fresher!

I insisted to wait for DP to walk to the office building together after our afternoon break…despite running an hour late!
I wanted to hold his warm hand and walk in the snow together for 3 minutes… (and never mind we were interrupted by Dp’s client somewhere between 1min and 1min 30sec. of the stroll.)
I am such a Romantic even the ground is dirty and wet from the melted snow!!!
Have a good weekend y’all!!!

I just remembered that I have a blog to update!
I guess that this is what holiday and being (more) relaxed supposed to make you do.
Forget almost everything!
SO I AM BACK!
And the holiday was GREAT!
The snow was a Bonus.
It was unexpected & going up to the mountains isn’t on the intinery!
Somehow being stuck in a least beautiful (and civilized) small places, like Yuncheng,
made me aware of the nature and surrounding.
Even Japan’s countryside is very beautiful.
We had one night in Tokyo. But it was enough for us to shop and walk around.
Somehow big cities scare me now!
More pictures coming up soon.
And if only I remembered my laptop! :(
The 19 inch monitor is a little overwhelming for me from my usual 13 inch laptop.
Besides 3 siblings ‘fighting’ over a PC is no FUN!
