I am inspired by the snow we are having in Yuncheng right now…
I thought I should do a post of the snow we saw in Japan last month (last year)!!!

The location wasn’t part of our itinerary but it was very fun & unforgettable.
We haven’t been in or seen this much snow… !

FAMILY FUN IN THE SNOW!

Back to the snow we are having in Yuncheng today.
It isn’t snowing heavily but beautiful and the air is now fresher!

Snow in YC1

I insisted to wait for DP to walk to the office building together after our afternoon break…despite running an hour late!
I wanted to hold his warm hand and walk in the snow together for 3 minutes… (and never mind we were interrupted by Dp’s client somewhere between 1min and 1min 30sec. of the stroll.)

I am such a Romantic even the ground is dirty and wet from the melted snow!!!

Have a good weekend y’all!!!

Pictures from the Japan trip… last month (or last year…)
I am lazy because I don’t know where to start with the 1000+ photos we took.
Dad, Ashley and I, we had our own camera…

Since returning to Yuncheng, I had all sorts of craving for food… they can also be found in Yuncheng but never as good as those in Singapore.
Example, like a plate of good char siew… from a top Cantonese in Yuncheng, they are either too burnt, too fat or no meat.
Any random char siew stall at hawker center taste much better.

Well, here are the pictures…

Tell me... I m not fat!
My favourite sister said that I look very cute like this…
I think it’s because I ate too much!!!

Foooood
Food and ME at a unflattering angle…

that was 3 mouthfuls for me!

waiting for the beef to boil!

I want the bigger cone!!!
Creamy Wasabi Ice-cream…they aren’t hot…
AND I want the bigger cone!!!

The Wasabi Root / Plantwasabi...fresh! Wasabi fresh from the root.

Cold bubbly beer... b4 bed every night!

desserts!

At age, 27 years & 3 months…
I am sometimes still amazed by how realistic the food display look.

kobe beef...
The only picture of our Kobe beef…
we were too hungry that day and savaged the juicy beef.

A hot hearty meal at Disneyland Tokyo.
A hot meal of Japanese curry at Disneyland Tokyo.

I am now craving for Japanese Curry, fishball, duck soup hotpot…. the craving list goes on…
To add… They don’t even have Butter here!!! Arrgh!

More pictures of scenic Japan coming up (hopefully) soon…

back from japan!

December 11, 2007

in Her Holidays,Her Life

I just remembered that I have a blog to update!

    ailihappyinthesnow

I guess that this is what holiday and being (more) relaxed supposed to make you do.
Forget almost everything!

SO I AM BACK!
And the holiday was GREAT!
The snow was a Bonus.
It was unexpected & going up to the mountains isn’t on the intinery!

Somehow being stuck in a least beautiful (and civilized) small places, like Yuncheng,
made me aware of the nature and surrounding.
Even Japan’s countryside is very beautiful.

We had one night in Tokyo. But it was enough for us to shop and walk around.
Somehow big cities scare me now!

More pictures coming up soon.

And if only I remembered my laptop! :(
The 19 inch monitor is a little overwhelming for me from my usual 13 inch laptop.

Besides 3 siblings ‘fighting’ over a PC is no FUN!
