We got together with some friends to celebrate Christmas.
This year, it is all about the kids.
Despite the ‘poor lighting’ in the photos (the atmosphere was warm and cozy at the party), trust me! The kids were excited and having lots of fun!
Oh no! I think Mummy is mad at me.
I must do something to make it up to her…Hmmmz…

Two were happy.
Santa sounds like Daddy.
One was more interested in the beard.
One was afraid and couldn’t sit still till Santa and everyone else in the room sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars…
And one was excited and sat on Daddy Santa, in her Mummy’s belly.

Time to unwrap the gifts. Definitely the highlight of the night.
I am starting to love Christmas…

Seriously… everything was kinda blur from then on… There was a lot going on in the room!
I only remember Amanda and the other kids ripping the wrapper on her presents with excitement.
Everyone was EXCITED!!!
Amanda. Is. Determined.
Amanda ripped open her presents with little help / almost no help from us.
She was anxious and used all her might to remove the wrappers.
Her determination and strength that night kinda surprised us…
What’s next?
This is HUGE.
Amanda was probably over-stimulated by the gift-ripping session.
She stood in the middle of the room looking kinda lost for a while.
It will be exactly how I would feel if you put me in a huge room and telling me all that all the beautiful bags are going to mine.
Just stating an example.
Amanda then let out her new signature fake dry cry.
Mummmmyyyy!!!
She was obviously drained from the FUN!
But it warms me to know my hug was everything she needed to feel better.
Hee!
I am sure as she grows older. She will be more emotionally ready for such excitement.
Beside, with two babies on the way, it will be so much more fun next Christmas.
That night, all the kids were in slumber-land in less than 10 minutes (coaxing Amanda to sleep is such a chore these days), I think its a sign that they had lots of fun!
