Its Dp’s birthday today.
He doesn’t celebrate birthdays… and even if we do celebrate his birthday, its because I insisted.
I decided to be really nice to him as his birthday present.
He totally deserved it for being really sweet to Us. :-)
So last night, when he was hungry, I got him snacks and opened the packaging for him.
When he wanted to read magazines, I went through the trouble to lift my heavy-self, roll over and turned on his reading light.
When he was done with his reading and was ready to sleep, I gave him his favorite back rub…voluntarily.
Minutes later, he requested me to stop and thanked me for the back rub.
I continued anyway and said “Why? Thought you loved it!”…
Dp: “Yes. I do. But you are scaring me! Why are you so nice to me? Is there anything that you want?”
Me: *rolls eyes* *continues back rub* *feel mean for scaring the poor boy!*
Dp: Zzzzz Zzzzz Zzzzz
Thank goodness that he didn’t lose sleep over my sudden kindness.
Found this old photo of Dp @ age 23.

Do I age… well?
The person in the picture is awfully familiar and yet feels like I am looking at someone else.
Age well or not, he sure age gracefully. Hee!
Happy 30th Birthday!
Ps: He didn’t resist celebration. But we are going out for dinner with a few friends tonight.
What’s important… I get to eat out. A change from the Cook’s not-so-broad variety of food.

So, is there really anything that you want?
Ashley > Nothing I want that I need to ask for his permission.
