Finally I…

in Her Life

Went for facial in the morning, and told Lynn (the facial lady) that I am leaving for Beijing this Sunday. We talked, and she shared her 6 pence worth of her opinion of Chinese people, (she is from Suzhou, East China), telling me how realistic they are and how life was so much better for her back then, than in Singapore. She got quite aggitated, i thought… and contradicting. Before i left, she told me she will be visiting BJ very often next year, for some auction thingy, and asked for my contact, so that she can call whenever she needed my help… I said “Okay…Sure!” *evil grin*

Finally, I have started PACKING…
Picked the clothes that i wanted to bring along, and gosh! To date, there are 3 baskets FULL!
Besides the clothes I have also made mental notes, on the other stuffs that I need to bring along… The packing is making me SLEEPLESS, kept thinking if i have missed anythingwhat made it worst, have to wake up at 4.40am to pick Mr DP at the Airport. My dear sister, Ashley helped to make a taxi booking at 5pm, besides booking fee, fare is also subjected to midnight charge…

And Opps! I missed 1 day of posting… very naughty… must not repeat! =P

My lovely colleagues

in Her Life

Today, I am dedicating my posting to the great friends I have in OCBC.
Had dinner with them, at Vienna International Buffet, United Sq. It was better than the last time I was there in Nov ‘03 (could be the reason for the price hike). Enjoyed myself with the fresh sashimi. The atmosphere was great, light-hearted and a waterfall fountain at the back. Glad to see all having fun.
Suzanna with her creative flair, amused us with many of her works, gave me a great hand-made card. Was trying to read the card, and get into the mood to “cry”, there were too many distractions, tough! When i got home to read the card again, I was very touched…
The dinner ended with a great NEWS, E Von is going to become a mummy!!! I am very happy for her, guess it a great feeling to become a mother. Bet the rest of the mummys and daddys in the team would agree with me. And to the 2.5 week old daddy, Lennon looks really adorable in the picture.
Before we leave and make our own way home, we had a round of sincere “sister-ly” HUG from the ladies, and a WARM handshake from the gentlemen. The sincerity and warmth made my heart sank, telling me,
THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO MISS…

Dinner at Vienna… at United Sq, Singapore….

Not forgetting the FUN TIMES we had, especially karaoke-ing with Annie, a multi-award winner, very entertaining performer, pole dancer, in short: Talented, she was last seen scoring goals at the Kallang Netball Court.

Please do not be fooled by our professional mannerisms in the day. This was us and at our WILDEST night out… performing “Lucky”.
Guess who was the most GLAMOROUS and Luckiest !!!

Mama-San & Girls before work…

Mama-San & Girls…

Going miss this group of great colleagues and the wonderful friendships built over my 1 year 6 months in the Merchant Relations Team. Each and everyone in the team have made a postive impact in my life, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Wishing all “XING XIANG SHI CHENG” … Keep in Touch!

My first blog entry…

September 18, 2004

in Her Life

This marks my first entry in my very own blog.

As at today, I am unemployed.

And a week from now, i will be moving on to a new city and starting a new life out there…

Right now, I am feeling horrible, not exactly looking forward.

The thought of leaving home… again, makes my heart feel heavy!
The only consolation : Beijing is only a 6-hrs flight away from Home.

The preparations, i got my 6-mth tourist visa, my one-way air-ticket, and i hate the packing.

I have never liked packing and when i travel, my luggage is always disorganized & messy.

Not forgetting my room, I need to clear my rubbish.
Being plain lazy, it was something I intended to do, a month ago…

Anyway, I hope / plan or I WILL update my blog, whenever possible.
To update everyone at home reading my blog.

And a special thank to my lil’ bro, for helping to set-up and a brief tutorial on how to start blogging.
